Reclaiming Joy
from stash shame to crafty contentment

Does buying yarnbring you joy?
Does it spark your creativity?
And
Does your small voice inside: say ‘I don’t need yarn. I have so much yarn. I don’t deserve this yarn.”

Does that inner voice fill you with self doubt and guilt because you already own some other yarn?

Does that doubt take away the happiness and creativity that you felt just a moment ago?

Do you end up putting that yarn back on the shelf and walking away feeling shame for what you already have and feeling disappointed because that new project isn’t in your future any more?

If you answered yes, this course is for you!

Maybe you call yourself a yarn or fabric hoarder?
Do you shove all those feelings into a small box inside?
Or hide your purchases from your partner?

Do you take that new beautiful yarn or fabric and STASH it away in a closet or under the bed.

Or keep it hidden in a bag instead of taking it out and admiring it and dreaming about what you will make with that wonderful new thread.  You could be taking inspiration from it instead of feeling that shame.

You can go back to experiencing that true joy that your materials bring you. You can banish “Stash Guilt” and return to loving all of your creative supplies.

I get where you're coming from. I’ve had masses of yarn and fabric and tools and patterns that are so overwhelming. I tried several times to go through those “stashes” to make some order.

I was able to pare down some items that I had outgrown. But I still had too much to really make sense. I lost the motivation and felt that the job was just too big.

I tried to organize my yarn and fabric better, but it was still a bit of a mess and I couldn’t find what I wanted in that pile without totally going through it again.

What turned all that negativity around for me was a very small change.

It wasn’t just about organization. It was my mindset. By changing the way that I saw myself, I could feel motivated and so my organization got better.
It helped me with feeling positive that what materials I had,  were my creative inspiration.

And most importantly, it got me back into loving my yarn and fabric and feeling like I knew what materials I had.
I knew what I was missing and I had several projects ready to go.
